Cemen Flex - Overview
Cemen Flex ties are employed in situations where the masonry consists of solid or hollow units - such as 'clay pots'. They can also be used in friable materials of unknown quality or design.
The 8mm diameter Grade 304 austenitic stainless steel tie is combined with Bond Flex XL, a pumpable but thixotropic non-shrink cementitious grout and an optional expanding material sock which restrains the flow of the grout into any voids. Installation is through a 12-13mm hole.
The hand held grout gun kit ensures the installation causes minimal disfiguration and is carried out very quickly and efficiently and random proof testing can be performed some 24 hours after installation.
