Bow Flex

Bow Flex is a versitile and effective repair method for stabilising bowed walls. It must be bourne in mind that Bow Flex will not pull a bowed wall back to its original position; it is designed to stabilise walls in their current positions. Bow Flex is recommended for use in bowed walls of two storey properties that have moved no more than 50mm from the perpendicular. More severe conditions can be accomodated but the opinion of the manufacturer or a suitablyt qualified structual engineer should be sought.

Bow Flex - Accessories

The Bow Flex Support Tool is required on all installations of Bow Flex. It consists of a long tube which the Bow Flex fits into the end of. 35mm of Bow Flex must remain out the end of the tool, and this is the part of the tie which fixes into the joist.

The Bow Flex Support Tool is used with an SDS+ Hammer Drill, which is not included.

Resin

Target Fixings Polyester Resin is a high performance, fast curing, two part chemical anchoring system based on unsaturated Polyester Resin in styrene. Pre-packed in a 10:1 Ratio cartridge for ease of use. Target Fixings Polyester Resin 380ml must be used with an Applicator Gun (sold separately). The 280ml Cartridge must be used with a Caulking Gun (sold separately).

Target Fixings Styrene Free Polyester Resin has the same high performance and fast curing properties as Target Fixings Polyester Resin. It is pre-packed in a 10:1 Ratio cartridge for ease of use. Target Fixings Styrene Free Polyester Resin must be used with a Caulking Gun (sold separately).

Target Fixings Epoxy Resin is a high performance, two-part anchoring System. The pure epoxy resin is odourless & Solvent Free and has a very high chemical resistance. It is pre-packed in a 1:1 Ratio cartridge for ease of use. Target Fixings Epoxy Resin must be used with an Epoxy Resin Applicator Gun (sold separately).

Resin Accessories

The Applicator Gun is of a heavy duty design, to be used with Polyester Resin fixing systems.

The Caulking Gun is a 400ml capacity rotating caulking gun. Ideal for the application of sealants and adhesives, along with some polyester resin fixing systems.

The Epoxy Resin Gun is a double-barrelled frame to take the 1:1 Ratio epoxy resin cartridges. Manufactured from high quality steel.
